Traditional warehousing
At our logistics centre in Tata, we provide warehousing services for our partners, catering to both short- and long-term storage needs. The layout of our warehouse allows for the safe and organised storage of goods of various sizes and types.
An 800 m² temperature-controlled, secure warehouse is available, with a ceiling height of 7.5 m and a floor load capacity of 5 tonnes/m². The warehouse is suitable for storing goods on pallets, and the shelving system has a load capacity of 1.6 tonnes. The appropriate warehouse infrastructure contributes to the safe and efficient handling of goods, whilst the temperature-controlled environment also allows for the storage of more sensitive products.
The warehousing service is available for one-off, project-based or ongoing logistics tasks. Our aim is to provide our customers with a reliable and flexible storage solution.

Outdoor storage of large-sized goods
Our logistics centre in Tata offers 2,000 m² of crane-accessible, open-plan, heavy-duty storage space with a solid surface. The area is particularly suitable for the storage of large, heavy or bulky goods, machinery, equipment and other industrial products.
To ensure maximum protection for stored goods, a storage tent is available, providing additional protection against the elements. The crane-accessible area facilitates the loading, handling and placement of heavy and bulky goods.
At our Nyergesújfalu site, we have a further 3,000 m² of heavy-duty, hard-surfaced warehouse space. With these two sites, we can flexibly adapt to storage requirements of varying sizes and quantities.
Our available material-handling equipment:
- 2.5-tonne capacity forklift
- 3.5-tonne capacity forklifts
- 6-tonne forklift with 2.8-metre factory-fitted forks
- 1-tonne capacity hand pallet trucks
With the help of our material-handling equipment, goods of various sizes and weights can be loaded and moved efficiently within the site. We tailor our available fleet to the specific characteristics of the goods and the loading task at hand.

Customs Warehouse
Our customs warehouse, operating at our logistics centre in Tata, offers a solution for the secure and regulated storage of goods subject to customs procedures. This service ensures that goods are stored under appropriate conditions in a controlled environment until customs clearance is completed. The customs warehouse is housed in a secure, temperature-controlled warehouse hall, making it suitable for the storage of weather-sensitive goods.
Customs warehousing can be flexibly integrated into import and logistics processes, thereby helping our partners to organise the flow of goods more efficiently. We discuss the details of the service and the options relating to the specific quantity and nature of the goods on the basis of individual requirements.

Rapid response to demand: The goods are already physically located within the EU (for example, in Hungary). When a customer places an order, customs clearance can be carried out immediately and the goods can be delivered within hours.
Mitigating seasonal fluctuations: You can purchase foreign goods during cheaper periods or in bulk (with volume discounts), which you can then store in the customs warehouse until the start of the peak season.
Establishing a transit centre: An ideal solution for companies that use Hungary as a Central and Eastern European distribution centre (hub) for neighbouring non-EU countries.
Deferred payment: Customs duties and import VAT are payable not upon entry at the border, but only when the goods are removed from the warehouse. This allows capital to remain with the company for a longer period.
Staged financing: If you import goods in large batches but sell them in instalments, you only need to pay duties and VAT in instalments, based on the quantities actually dispatched (sold).
Full exemption from customs duties on re-export: If you sell the goods outside the EU (to a third country), they can be cleared directly from the warehouse. This means you do not have to pay any EU customs duties or VAT at all.
